The second edition of the Précis Louisiana Law of Property, like the original edition, provides a concise and clear exposition of the main institutions, principles, and rules of Louisiana's property law, as it is set out in the Louisiana Civil Code and related legislation, and will serve as an essential and original informational resource for Louisiana law students in particular and the legal profession in general. The second edition, in addition to addressing the most important changes in property law that have been made since the publication of the first edition (for example, revisions to the law of partition of co-owned property and the law of the possessory action), addresses several topics that were not covered in the first edition, including petitory and boundary actions and building restrictions.
